Basic Forklift Operator

Courses highlight safety aspects, operations, basic maintenance, and OSHA compliance issues and earn an operator’s certificate to operate a sit-down counterbalanced, LP gas powered forklift. In forklift Train-the-Trainer, students learn how to train others to operate a forklift, based on the requirements of the OSHA Standard. BioNetwork Learning Solutions Center

Develops interactive learning solutions using tools such as webinars, multimedia, simulations, flash modules, and serious games. Ed2Go-Pro

Ed2Go Pro offers a variety of instructor-facilitated online classes to meet the needs of your employees. Each class is offered in a six-week format and is available 24 hours a day – 7 days a week.

Heartsaver CPR & First Aid Training

Gaston College offers courses designed for your workplace safety training, striving to meet the demands of a diverse workforce, offering a variety of teaching formats, and training at multiple locations. For information email parsley.kimberly@gaston.edu  or call 704.922.2311.

Industrial Fire Brigade Training

These classes are customized to the needs of specific industry groups and are offered at our state of the art training facility or at the industry site. OSHA General Health and Safety Courses

These courses are offered 10 or 30 hours in length and provide participants an opportunity to learn skills and knowledge about protecting the health and safety of personnel, with a focus on OSHA compliance issues. Small Business Center

Gaston College’s Small Business Center is one of 58 across the State of North Carolina. The SBC’s were initiated by the NC General Assembly to aid small businesses since small business are the backbone of NC’s economy. Since the mid 1980’s, this network has provided how to seminars at no charge, resource centers, and one-on-one counseling for small business owners and prospective owners.
