We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all first responders and emergency personnel for their tireless efforts during these challenging times. Our thoughts remain with those affected. We also want to thank the utility workers and Gaston College employees who have worked around the clock to restore power and services across our campuses, enabling us to safely reopen. All services have been fully restored, and regular operations at Gaston College will resume on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024 (the college remains closed for Monday, Sept. 30).
While we reopen, we recognize that Hurricane Helene has affected many individuals across our state, and challenges persist. The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and their families is our top priority. If you are unable to return to in-person classes or are having difficulty accessing online coursework, please reach out to your instructor for assistance. Employees facing any issues should contact their supervisor.
