Choose one of the above universities that you would like to attend and review the website for information about the BSN program.
Have your transcript reviewed by an RN to BSN advisor at the university
Apply to Gaston College to take the needed general education classes required.
- If you have been a Gaston College student within the past 2 years you will not need to reapply
- You will register as a Health Care transfer student
Apply to the university (see university website for application deadlines). Depending on the university, the university start time may be fall or spring semester.
The following are course categories that will be required for your BSN. Please seek advisement from a university advisor of which classes the university requires.

Average cost for state universities is between $5,000- $6,000 for program
Most programs are 3-5 semesters with the option of online or seated (face to face) classes.
