Student Requirements

Admission Requirements:

Complete all 7 steps as listed on the contact form

Upon completion of all 7 steps, students will receive an email with verification of date and time of zoom sessions

Attend the following 3 sessions via ZOOM:

ID Verification

1. must provide 1 of the following: unexpired state issued ID, school ID, military ID or passport
2. Social Security Card

Placement Testing

1. Score at on a 9^th grade reading level or higher to qualify for Adult High School

Orientation

1. Complete important documents including an attendance and progress agreement
2. Meet with AHS staff to review transcript and courses needed for graduation

Graduation Requirements

1. Have a total of 22 credits as required by the State of North Carolina. A list of required courses can be found on page 4 of the AHS student handbook
2. Students must pass a comprehensive cumulative exam in each class

Attendance Requirements

1. Students must work at least 15 hours every week and keep progress out of the red to remain in good standing in Adult High School
2. Maintain passing grades on every assignment based on a 10-point grading scale
