Programs Available
In addition to general education courses taught online and at the Lincoln Campus of Gaston College, eligible high school students in Lincoln County are also able to enroll in career and technical education pathways at LCST that lead to a certificate. These pathways are delivered hybrid and face to face.
Business Administration– Small Business Management Certificate – Students can earn a Certificate in Small Business Administration with 18 semester hours of credit and move seamlessly into Gaston College’s Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree program. Earning the certificate while in high school will save the student $1296 in tuition costs.
Criminal Justice Technology Certificate – Students can earn a Certificate in Criminal Justice with 18 semester hours of credit and move seamlessly into this Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree program. Earning the certificate while in high school will save the student $1296 in tuition costs.
Welding Technology Certificate – Students can earn a certificate in Welding Technology- Level I Welding with 15 semester hours of credit and move seamlessly into the Welding Diploma program. Earning the certificate while in high school will save the student $1050 in tuition costs.
